Back in the scorching summer of 1978, a man named Duke rode into town with nothing but a beat-up Stetson, a '57 Chevy pickup and a dream bigger than the West Texas sky.

He found an old weathered building in the centre of town, its timber walls still carrying the smell of cedar and red desert dust. With calloused hands and a borrowed hammer, Duke nailed the first plank above the door, and Duke's Saloon was born.

Word spread faster than a tumbleweed in a West Texas wind. Cowboys, ranch hands, city folk and wanderers alike came to tie up their horses, kick off their boots and let the music move their souls.
